The main owner of Ventura AS is Martin André Leinebø.

The new boat is called Ventura. The boat is 15 meters long. The boat replaces an older boat with the same name.

The boat’s main engine is a Scania D16 625hp with a free-standing ZF 665 V-gear.

There are two Nanni generators on board.

The boat is equipped with Furuno, Simrad and Olex navigation equipment from Norway.

The boat is also equipped with front and rear hydraulically operated side thrusters connected to the boat’s autopilot.

The boat is equipped for netting. Deck gear comes from Norway.

The landing crane is of the type TMP500L

The boat has an ARG250 gyro-stabilizer.

Lifeboats and other boat safety equipment comes from Viking.

There is room for up to 43 460-liter containers in the fish-hold. The boat has a heated storage room. There is a large dining room in the bridge. Accommodation for six in in three cabins, as well as complete cooking facilities with stove, oven, microwave and refrigerator.

The boat is prepared for longer trips if needed and the equipment on board for the crew is in line with that.
