A new Cleopatra 40 boat was recently delivered to father and son William & Iain MacDonald in North Uist in the Western Isles of Scotland.<\/p>\n
Iain \u201cPaco\u201d Macdonald is the skipper on the boat.<\/p>\n
The boat has been named Two Daughters.\u00a0 Two Daughters is a Cleopatra 40.\u00a0 The working deck is half sheltered.<\/p>\n
The main engine is an FPT C13 connected to a ZF 325IV gearbox.\u00a0 Nanni 9kW generator is fitted in the engine room.<\/p>\n
Navigation equipment comes from Furuno \/ Simrad. The boat has a MaxSea plotter software fitted.<\/p>\n
The boat is fitted with a hydraulically driven bow thruster connected to the boat\u2019s autopilot.<\/p>\n
Two Daughteres is fitted with a Seakeeper anti rolling gyro system.\u00a0 For extra comfort at sea.<\/p>\n
Two Daughters is fitted for potting\/creeling for\u00a0Prawns, Langoustines and brown crab. She can easily haul 1000 pots per day using the Cleopatra style self hauling\/self shooting system.<\/p>\n
The fish hold is designed to hold standard fish boxes so it is easy to keep the catch alive on board.<\/p>\n
The boat\u2019s safety equipment is from Viking.<\/p>\n
The accommodation has bunks for three \u2013 four people as well as cooking facilities with a stove, microwave and refrigerator.<\/p>\n
The boat has already started fishing.<\/p>\n
